September 13-19 is Direct Support Professionals Recognition Week, a time to acknowledge the extraordinary contributions of our Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), Life Skills Trainers and other direct support staff. This week, we celebrate these often unsung heroes and the work they do to help people with an array of challenges grow and be active in their community.

Recently, REM Ramsey Minnesota organized a Parade of Homes to celebrate their direct support professionals and show team members just how much they are appreciated. Over the course of two days, they vised more than 70 group homes to cheer on their frontline staff.
