The MENTOR Network is pleased to announce that it has welcomed Just Family, Inc., a Kentucky provider of Adult Day Health (ADH) services. Based in Lexington, Kentucky, Just Family serves approximately 800 residents of the Bluegrass State through nine ADH centers as well as home-based attendant care services. In welcoming Just Family, The MENTOR Network expands its ADH services into a fifth state.
Through its center-based and home-based programming, Just Family provides a range of person-centered day services to elders, including nursing, personal care, medication management and nutritional supports.
“Consistent with the mission that has driven The MENTOR Network for almost 40 years, Just Family, Inc.’s continuum of service allows elders to maintain their independence and dignity, while avoiding institutional care,” said Bruce Nardella, President and CEO of The MENTOR Network. “We are thrilled to welcome the management and caregivers of Just Family, Inc., as well as the individuals they support.”
With the addition of Just Family, The Network’s ADH partner MENTOR Adult Day Health now operates 37 centers in Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Hampshire and New Jersey, serving approximately 5,300 elders. These vibrant day programs help elders with complex medical or rehabilitative needs remain in their homes or with family instead of requiring higher levels of care such as nursing homes. The programs offer opportunities for socialization and independent living skill-building, as well as other supports tailored to participants’ unique needs including rehabilitation, transportation, nutritious meals and case management.
